Take his reasoning for extending the debt ceiling with Chuck and Nancy to send a message to Republicans. The degree to which he may believe his own reasoning is delusional and beyond. No he never made those to comments to Billy Bush there is a chance he may actually believe his own assertions of denial. Shutting down Government is the equivalent of shouting fire in a crowded theater. The political ploy of playing with the debt ceiling is a game of chicken you can expect a rational being to pull back from the brink. Not with Trump this anarchist is dangerous. One day soon he will go too far with someone (eg. North Korea). It may be more than being callous Trump thrives on fear and hate and embraces chaos.
