using Franken as their sacrificial lamb; hanging him up on the cross of virtue to take away the sins of the Democratic Party or something like that (sorry for the Christ-symbolism there). I just don't think it's going to work; the GOP have already demonstrated that they are incapable of shame. Maybe the Dems will get some political mileage out of the whole mess somewhere down the road, but I'm not hopeful and I fear that sacrificing Franken will be for nothing.

What they should do is force the investigation on Franken, THAT would force the investigation on Moore and Trump, and my feeling is that some, if not all, of these anonymous accusers will never come out, or may be found to be trolls lying to incriminate Franken into something he never did. Also, I am sure they will find facts on Moore and the man-child allegations against them.

The first accuser, Hannity's friend, doesn't want an investigation, one has to wonder why...

The democrats, as always, have committed the crime of NOT THINKING BEFORE ACTING.

"THINK BEFORE YOU ACT", that is something we all need to do every day, even for the most simple things. People like the man-child never do that, he has no concept of consequence so he acts without thinking, and that is exactly what thos 35 democrats have done.

I can't come up with any justification on why these democrats cannot have a thought about these anonymous accusers being trolls, force them to show their faces.

And the last blonde who said Franken touched her on her waist, and "he knew what he was doing"...WHAT???? Are there any witnesses? How does she know what she alleges Franken of doing is groping? This is so ridiculous in so many levels.

I am all for getting Franken out of the senate IF, in fact, he committed what these unknown women said he did, but I have a hard time believing any of them at this time, including the radio host show who went on kissing very passionately a soldier she had never seen before.

They are correct in my view that the culture is shifting, this wave of concern with politicians
and inappropriate behavior is occurring while colleges grapple with date rape and hazings.

IN 2016 Obama was pushing LGBT rights in bathrooms, and ignoring how those with traditional
values were rebelling against the issue. That played right into HRC's opponents.

If we wait long enough here, yes they might impeach Trump, or start to care about people again,
in the form of what the GOP budget is doing to families, or even the effects of mass shootings on
people. Thoughts and prayers on these issues are not sufficient.

I feel like we are grasping at straws. We lose one of our very best and in return keep Trump and get Roy Moore. Maybe if we sacrifice a few more we'll control both Houses of Congress?

The pussy grabber tape came out on October 7. The beauty pageant dressing room stuff came out before then. A month after the PG tape dropped, enough people were stupid enough to vote for a known sexual molester to put him in the White House.

We could boot ALL the Democrats from both houses and replace them with priests, nuns and monks, and it still wouldn't get Trump impeached over sex. Sorry kids, but we're going to have to rely on good ol' fashioned treason.

from the senate, he choose to voluntarily resign. He could have kept his seat like the way Roy Moore decided to stay in the race even after Trump, McConnell and every top name republican had asked him to resign.

Every single democratic senator can come out against him and he could have still stayed in office. The people of Minnesota elected him and another problem is that Al Franken admitted to the accusations while Roy Moore denies, denies and denies the accusations against him. He could have stuck it out if he really wanted to fight for his seat. So no, Laura Ingram doesn't have a point.
