In a speech on the Senate floor, Sen. Al Franken stated he would resign from Congress amid allegations of misconduct. The Morning Joe panel discusses Franken's speech, which also criticized Donald Trump and Roy Moore.

I couldn't agree more that ALL women should be taken SERIOUSLY in bringing charges of sexual harrassment/assault... that doesn't NECESSARILY mean that they all have to be BELIEVED... that's where due process comes in. Franken asked for it, he ABSOLUTELY DESERVED it, and why our representatives can't see this is beyond me!!

although, I wish she had phrased it differently. We need to make room for the possibility that a man might be innocent. This is politics. We have very powerful people who have proven themselves willing to play dirty. How can we be so naive knowing how the game is played?

The line about Kirsten Gillibrand running for President? Uhh..no!
