Talking with her on the phone, she'd ask me the same question again and again...

I talked to her on the phone on NYE and she informed me that she spent Xmas with my brother, my SIL, and my nephew the week before.

Me and my brother have lived together for the last 30 years. I was there. Waited on her hand and foot, and glad to do it.

Since it was new years eve, and she was calling me to say Happy New Year, I just let it slide. No point in bringing her down.

I kept telling her that we were coming for a visit and she kept forgetting we were even coming. I was pretty sad because she liked to spend lots of time preparing and precooking so she could spend more time with us. Sooo sad!

My mother has enable my dad for several years.
She is now getting payback and start sliding down the hill.
About 4 years my dad would state "I don't recall that".
Then with palm down, front to back, hand about 3 inches above head.
Now it is "I don't have any experience with that", then "over the head" sign.
And recall is getting to be less than a sentence and at times syllables.
