Trump thinks everybody in the government works for him and has to answer to him. His businesses never had boards of directors; he owned and managed everything himself and could do anything he wanted. Anybody who worked for the Trump businesses was at his mercy. He does not understand that the government doesn't work that way but he's trying to operate as if it did.
