1. If anyone believes the W.H. is doing a serious investigation of Kushner, raise your hand!

I've got some lovely swampland to sell ya.

My guess is that this is going to be a pretend "investigation," to clear Kushner. So they'll have a "report" like the House of Rep report on collusion. The W.H. counsel are loyal to Trump, as Trump requires. There won't be any real investigation of "The Family." That would be like Don Corleone's consigliere investigating the daughter's husband. Not gonna happen. (Now if they find out that the son-in-law has turned on "the family," that's a different matter.)

2. They wanted to get out in front of the scandal...

so they could slow-walk the "investigation." The Kouche is safe - for now.

3. Trump's assertion.....

that he has Attorneys climbing over each other's backs for the chance to defend him in the Russian scandal is.......how do you say it.......bullshit. All the good Attorneys in Washington, and even New York, are inventing "conflicts of interest" and any other cockamamie excuse they can come up with to gracefully bow out of defending the indefensible Trump. No legitimate Attorney wants to get within a mile of the White House, and Trump.

As for Kushner, he can keep the wolves away from the door for a while, but eventually his multitudinous greasy, money grubbing, finance infractions are going to bury him. He IS going to do some time in a Federal "spa", not of his choosing. Jared does not look good in bright orange. Maybe Ivanka can steal a design from someone to make him look a little better though.
