“Low plastic stool, cheap but delicious noodles, cold Hanoi beer.” This is how I’ll remember Tony. He taught us about food — but more importantly, about its ability to bring us together. To make us a little less afraid of the unknown. We’ll miss him.
I'm from Leonia; we're very proud of him there. 
And a few years ago, I was working at Universal Studios where he was shooting The Taste, but I didn't find out until later.
Always figured I'd have a chance to talk to him about Leonia if he came back...

My sister and her friends pretty much lived there during summers in the late 90's/early 00's.
I may have even been there a time or two.
