Rodman, showed more strength than many men walking today, to let his emotions show and continue talking and addressing the points of his interest and regards.... and thanking the many people who has supported him while masses of other attacked him.

6. I agree. I didn't listen to the whole video, but Rodman makes a lot of sense.

Don't like him supporting trump, but he has his reasons I suppose.

As to the "summit" yesterday, I think we are better off than we were a few months ago when trump was thumping his chest and ready to nuke NK.

I don't think trump did much to orchestrate this summit, but at least he didn't scuttle it (although he tried). Like Rodman said, this was not about who is the greatest and all that, but it does move us a little closer to a safer world, if only for a few days, weeks, or months.

Months ago, we -- including me -- were bashing trump for bringing us to brink of war with NK. Now we are bashing him for at least participating in the lessening of tensions. Personally, I don't have to be like a GOPer and criticize everything the opposing Prez does, no matter how awkward he looks doing it.

You'd think he could pay for his own travel without having to be a cryptocurrency shill if this means so much to him.

9. Rodman clings to relevancy.

Rodman has Kim to thank for anyone caring what he says these days. But for Kim's bizarre fantasy of being an NBA player, and Rodman being the only NBA player desperate/nuts enough to play with Kim in that fantasy, Rodman wouldn't be on TV right now.

10. the fact is Rodman made his history in the NBA, and he has nothing to prove,

he presented himself in a humble manner full with emotions, no one can say is not real.
To try and take anything from him is an unfair thing. He did not ask anyone for payment, and he is not trying to grandstand.
why try and diminish him? whats to be gained by doing so.

11. Because to describe what he is doing as diplomacy is giving legitemacy to Kim and Trump's charade.

I do not doubt Rodman is "full of emotions." He started crying when describing how he was rebuked when he first returned from his first trip to NK, which he admits he did without knowing anything about NK or Kim. He was crying because he was feeling sorry for himself. I wouldn't describe that as humble. I would describe that as self-centered. He was normalizing a murderous dictator, and all he sees as wrong with that picture is how mean people were to him when he came back from doing that.

12. We might want to review American's history, we have a long history of not so nice stuff.

It's a different dynamics going on now... I never called him any level of diplomat, and he himself stated that he has no role of such, nor does he want such a role. He said, he was asked to "deliver a message" and was not heard and the message was not transmitted previously.

We can have all the disdain we want about Trump, and I have written plenty... But we have to deal with this on its individual merit as to what resolves to become. When economic and money comes into the picture... a lot goes on that we will never gain the inside privy unto.

Trump, will get credit for what ever is to be divided up as credit, for what is taking place. I think the main credit goes to N. and S. Korea, because they are the ones the matter truly involves. China has played and is playing it Role, and we can be assured Russia is playing its role, they are both neighbors of N. Korea...

I'm sure in the long history of the world, there have been many "non political involved people" who have been message carriers of sorts. In some issues it might be neutral individuals who is able to talk to both sides.

Probably if Rodman had a generalized expected polished look, people would have a whole different commentary of his presence. But, as with life, all characters of individuals will 'never" fit some scripted image mold... therefore, its time people actually "listen to actually hear" what individuals are saying... especially in this particular situation.
We all might learn something that we did not know..

13. What is Rodman's "message"?! That the loon Kim fantasizes about the NBA and is a "big kid"?

I actually watched that rambling mess of an interview. He couldn't even give a straight answer about whether Kim spoke English, for fuck's sake. That's 15 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
