women live longer than men-- as I reminded a friend yesterday while we were bemoaning

the orange blob of suet.

as I told a group of TX pols years ago, "go ahead. feel powerful and in control. pass whatever hateful, ignorant, woman-threatening legislation you want. we will outlive you, dance on your graves, and fix the mess you make"

I try to remember that in these very trying times.

(donnie dimwit, just because most of the scotus reactionary conservatives are not doddering old fools yet, doesn't mean they will hang around forever.)

My grandmother left me some recipes and one ingredient was suet. I researched it and it sounded like a root vegetable but can’t find it in the store.

Sorry for the off topic.

And to add to it, if men could get pregnant abortion would have been on demand with no problem.

Grandma’s been gone since 1989. She used to put it in her famous chili recipe. I think I’ll pass like I do with chitlins
