He may be an idiot, but so far the "winning" he kept talking about during the campaign was about "him" winning, and I hate to admit it, but he "has shot a lot of people on 5th avenue" and gotten away with it.
Why is it that he got away with the one-on-one with Putin? Why is it that he gets away with inviting Putin to the USA? Why is it that he gets away with a next day "walk back" by changing one single word? How insulting is that?
I have to say that he, personally, is winning...Yes, he is most probably compromised up to his ears with the Russians, so is his family, and many republicans, but so far they are getting away with it.
I wonder if, when Muller comes out with all the evidence, if the republicans will turn the other way? I have a feeling they will because they too are compromised, and that will be the "massacre in 5th avenue" that he gets away with.
Everyone knows that republicans will cheat in November 2018, that the Russians are ready to turn the votes toward republicans, why else would republican lawmakers be helping and setting the scenario for the success of that cheating? The stupidity of the voters does not understand that the country is in real trouble, the USA is being run by crooks and traitors, and the democrats don't seem to be doing enough to safeguard elections, rule of law, and the democracy. Democrats need to be more proactive and tougher, to throw every punch that is required, otherwise the man-child will win once again.
