and his merry band of thieves. Digital phone call recording systems are standard equipment for many businesses. You have to know the SC Mueller's digital recovery team pulled those recordings at their very first opportunity or would know to subpoena such digitally recorded phone conversations.

Even old phone systems had such features and there's a whole telecom industry that provides such services, that include phone call date, time, the recorded conversation and with what telephone number.

So not just tapes, automatic digital recordings.

For you youngsters on DU, Rosemary Woods was Richard Nixon's personal secretary for many years, including the White House years.

When the tapes of Nixon's meetings discussing the Watergate cover-up finally surfaced, there were 17 minutes that mysteriously disappeared in the middle of the tape. Rosemary Woods tried to explain that she had "accidently" erased 17 minutes of the meeting while she was transcribing the minutes. After demonstrating how it could have awkwardly happened it became obvious to everyone that she didn't do it, but Nixon made her take the blame for it.

He told us months ago that the trump tapes were so damning, he wouldn't last his term.

Yet just last month he warned that unless Democrats nominated a street fighter (like him) in 2020, trump would win reelection.

He's a lawyer after all, that is, a professional bullshiter, but I'm really starting to admire how, when he gets on the scent, he holds on like a bulldog. Could be for the public, like he claims, or for his own ambitions. Whatever he's a welcome and much needed fighter. He'll be a part of the political scene in some form from now on.
