I lived across the street from school, our doors were almost directly opposite. Captain Penny had the little rascals and the three stooges with the most amazing old cartoons at the noon show. Barnaby had popeye and Krazy Kat and Felix the Cat.

It was great, I actually got to see the whole Captain Kangaroo and noon Captain Penny.

I had an absolutely wonderful childhood.

he cams on right after Beany and Cecil on Sunday late afternoons. Beany and Cecil had some smart writing in it and the best puns of all time.
