10. The Republicans' reaction to Obama is the same as a vampire to a cross.

I sincerely hope that the nation will be able to recover from this administration. Although I am not in the least optimistic. The Republicans have poisoned the nation to such an extent with their propaganda that 30% have been convinced that lies are truth and hatred is love. His constituency has been so brainwashed that the actually believe that Trump is a god send to America and will not recognize that he is the very personification of evilness and greed. Trump has seized on the economic improvements that have been gained by the dramatic reduction in taxes. This will prove to be catastrophic when the massive increases in the national debt have to be paid.

A major key to the problems is that older generation will not be seriously affected, but assuredly their children and grandchildren will pay the price. If the Republicans retain control, it will be partially solved by massive cuts in ever piece of progressive legislation ever passed by the Democrats dating from FDR to the present. The important block of voters fifty and above are allowing this to happen primarily because their benefits with out last their life so they gladly accept the lower taxes and enrichment of the oligarchs without any care to what it portends for their grandchildren.


The very future of the nation is going to be put to the test in the up coming 2018 elections. If the Republicans prevail, then the 2020 elections will most probably put Trump in the White House for a second term. Don't be surprised if the Republicans accomplish their goal of transforming the presidency into a Authoritarian Presidency with absolute control of every branch of government. This is what they have striven for under previous administrations. The Bush administration came close in establishing what is variously termed Executive Unity or the Unitarian Theory.
