These are great to watch when I have to get up @3 or 4am. My back and shoulders only let me lay in bed for about four hours at a time, then I have to get up and move around, do stretches, having entertainment is a welcome treat.

I find it helpful to avoid any bright light in my eyes, as it can really make it harder to get back to sleep.

For myself, political stuff, or anything too mentally stimulating also impairs returning to slumber

6. I know it's not a good thing to view

a screen at that time but it isn't insomnia either, it's just pain that wakes me, I have to get and make everything calm down, physically, after that I have no problem getting back to sleep, I just can't be in bed for more than five or six hours in a row. And that's when I can get full signal on the wifi I use so watching videos then makes sense. I'm also several feet away, on the floor, trying to get my spine lined up again.
