Sen. Jeff Merkley: 'Absurd' There's Only Going To Be One Copy Of FBI Report | The Last Word | MSNBC

Sen. Jeff Merkley says "100 Senators will have to line up" to see the FBI report on Brett Kavanaugh because there is only going to be one copy available. Sen. Merkley calls the President's handling of the Kavanaugh investigation a "significant cover-up."

1. Was was watching and I heard that, too - what possible sense does that make??

Saving paper?? We know that Republicans could care less about that. The only possible reason is to keep this report from becoming public for as long as they can - and to schedule a vote before the majority can read and absorb it. They just want to ram this vote through - despite the huge national controversy that should have shut down this insanity long ago.

And there is much more than just the sex allegations.. he lied in his other hearings, the break-in of the senate computer system and theft of documents, the drinking problems, the gambling problems, the debt problems, the hiding of over 100,000 documents that could very well show his involvement in torture and war crimes.. on and on and on!

The Dems need to be raising hell about this.

And I really wish someone would go find Chuck Schumer and try to talk him into coming out of hiding

3. Without even verifying that he's lied, I think that hearing performance disqualified him

He came off as pretty unhinged - not a quality we're looking for in a Supreme Court justice.

5. If the vote is soon, like next Friday, it makes it almost impossible for all to read

Even if all Senators only took 15 minutes on average, it would take 3 workdays to get through.

Every single senator who's expected to vote needs to be raising hell about this! And we have some outspoken senators who took part on those hearings - painful farce that it was - and they need to stick together and take a stand.

hurry to confirm. Obviously the repugs see the writing on the wall w/ the upcoming Nov. 2018 elections or something worse about Kav and the blue wave tsunami coming right at them. Fine. Let them confirm Kav. He can be impeached also. And he should be impeached since he should have never been a judge to begin with, with all of the accusations so far. Lied from the very get go.

Get out and vote.

Blue wave tsunami (sounds like a good song here maybe).

Accuse, and/or impeach and then convict or jail. Move on and repair the country.

Pretty simple.
