the DeMent - Prine connection. John Prine is one of my all-time favorites. I've seen him live 6 times, once in a club so small I sat within 3 feet of him. Great guy, and a helluva' songwriter/singer, and even actor!

exept it was 12 feet for me. I've also seen Iris in a small venue. Two of my favorites for sure.

Are you an "Arrested Development" fan, or had you heard of the moniker before?

were magnificent. The character development of "extras" like Bob Loblaw, Gene Parmesan, and Stan and Sally Sitwell (among others) kept the all-star cast on their toes. I still pick up subtle jokes and nuanced dialogue after seeing each episode a minimum of 5 times. It's one of the all-time comedy classics, that's for sure!
