Trump compared the military’s often deadly battles with resurgent Taliban forces to his actions to strengthen the United States’ border with Mexico, saying both fights were about “borders”.

“We’re doing very well on the southern border,” Trump said, launching into a diatribe. “We get a lot of bad court decisions from the Ninth Circuit which has become a big thorn in our side.”

“We always lose, and then you lose again and again,” the president complained. “It’s a terrible thing when judges take over your protective services, when they tell you how to protect your border. It’s a disgrace.”

“So we’re winning, and you’re winning,” Trump added before continuing on to his next call.

8. WTF? Does he know that for the military, Thanksgiving is not about him and his petty fights

with the judicial system? I guess not. Military members want to be thanked for their service and sacrifices -- especially those overseas generally and in Iraq or Afghanistan specifically. The men and women who are missing Thanksgiving with their families because of Trump's midterm elections stunt especially need an expression of appreciation, and not just, "We're winning and you're winning." And the families' sacrifices must be acknowledged.

If you want to see how to do it, watch any president, Democrat or Republican, since forever.

Calling from Mar-A-Lago (look at the couch in the background) was a touch of class.

4. I thought it was funny that the serviceman he was talking to told him it was 1800 when he

asked what time it was. Obama may not have known military time, but I bet someone would have told him what time it was over there. He would probably have said, that's six if I remember right, or something like that. Trump is too much of a dumbshit to even try and look sharp, even if one of his people did tell him the time.
