He gets flack from some on the left for being hyper centrist but Colorado is a mix of hyper conservative libertarian types in rural areas and super leftist types in the cities. He has to be centrist.

Michael Bennet is my Senator. He's very competent, and I've never regretted voting for him, but I've always regarded him as the wonk's wonk, a man who couldn't move a crowd if he promised them free beer. I've never been so happy to feel like an idiot.
