Marianne Williamson for president as a Democrat (1/31/2019)

Marianne Williamson, best-selling author and Oprah Winfrey's spiritual guru, is the latest Democrat to jump into the 2020 presidential field, who says she's running to bring a "moral and spiritual awakening" for America.

--One of her policy agendas is 100 billion (over 10 years) in reparations to African Americans.
--Health Care for all.
--Tax cut for middle class
--Free tuition for public colleges
--Green New Deal

A path to get out from under corporate rule and tyranny.

I agree, the reparations thing is a deal killer. That's the only thing that I disagree with her on. Autumn Feb 2019 #7
I don't believe she indicated cutting checks to individuals, rather Capt. America Feb 2019 #12

No one who was ever a slave in the USA is currently alive, and a lot of the African-American population currently living in the USA are not descended from anyone who was a slave. We can, and we must, improve the lot of the African-American population...but cutting checks to individuals isn't the way to do it.

She explained very well the things that gave us Trump. She seems very intelligent, has a strong belief in God but doesn't seem preachy or pandering. She's very sharp on what is at the core of the problems we face economically, She nailed the problems facing our country, our democracy and our planet. I've never heard of her but I like her.

That said, she lost my support in the nomination phase at "spiritual awakening."
