(18,770 posts)It's frustrating when I wake up on a Saturday morning to watch them on DU, only to find they were pulled from YouTube overnight.
Thank you for posting the ones I can watch next week!

(205,506 posts)I know what you mean - that used to happen all the time here. So I figured out which segments will still be available a year from now. The only aggravating thing is that since he came back they're only uploading four - and not necessarily the ones we most want to see (Chris Christie, Ann Coulter ).

(205,506 posts)I'm just bummed out that they left out Eric Idle - though he did appear in Overtime!

(11,802 posts)He was on the show....
Unless you're talking bout what was on YouTube.

(205,506 posts)Last week they had both Congressman Will Hurd (first interview) and Mayor de Blasio (mid show guest) - but they left out Bill's (short) monologue. Since he came back, they're only uploading 4 segments. And those are the ones I post since they'll continue to be available.

(26,330 posts)It sounded like he said, you dont need blackface you practice racism
Rhiannon12866
(205,506 posts)Malcolm Nance is always the smartest guy in the room - and I think so. I wondered if his NASCAR quip was aimed at Kingston...

(26,330 posts)You exercise your racism you dont have to put a black face on
Zing!
Yeah, that nascar thing was aimed at him too
Rhiannon12866
(205,506 posts)I also have it on the TV right now, LOL. I don't know why he always needs to have RWers on since his audience certainly doesn't appreciate them. Maybe it's for smart guests like Malcolm Nance to make sport of!

(63,221 posts)I saw the full show on You Tube. They made Jack Kingston look like the ass that he is. Bill really needs to cool it with the right-wingers on his show. He's only pissing off his most dedicated watchers. They add nothing to the show. Kingston made Christie look absolutely charming.
Anyway, thanks for posting!
Rhiannon12866
(205,506 posts)Even Eric Idle (who I've always thought was hysterical!) has a better grasp of current events than Jack Kingston does - and Kingston's been on numerous times before, so Bill has to know exactly what he's getting. And I agree with you that Bill's audience doesn't appreciate the RW guests - but Malcolm Nance (the smartest man in any room) got in several zingers at his expense, though I'm not entirely sure he noticed...
smirkymonkey
(63,221 posts)That was brilliant!
Is there any bigger dork than Jack Kingston? Why are all republicans such losers? Wrong on absolutely every issue!
Rhiannon12866
(205,506 posts)Though judging my Jack Kingston's reaction - it went way over his head! Malcolm Nance is one of my favorite guests!
Glamrock
(11,802 posts)Burned his ass too! He did not like that one bit. I don't think he got the whole blackface comment. He damn sure got the NASCAR comment and he didn't like it one iota.
Rhiannon12866
(205,506 posts)I keep hoping that just once he'll have an entire show comprised of those we like, LOL. He's had Rachel Maddow, Joy Reid, Lawrence O'Donnell, Chris Hayes - they all can't be busy!
Glamrock
(11,802 posts)Fuck. His answer to everything is, "well the Clintons... " Piss off man!

(205,506 posts)I had a dentist appointment a couple of months ago - and the TV in the waiting room was tuned to FOX News! Now I've known my dentist since the '80s and I know she's "one of us," as is her 22 year old assistant. They often turn on MSNBC for me. I looked all over for the damn remote - and her assistant came in and explained that a previous patient had asked for that channel! I only heard about 2 minutes of it, but I was still floored - they were still talking about "Hillary's emails!!!"
smirkymonkey
(63,221 posts)I can't stand that guy! Why does Bill even bother having people like this on his show. Republicans aren't watching and it only pisses Democrats off. Christie was at least slightly interesting and less offensive, but I really wanted to punch Kingston's face in.

(182,829 posts)Kingston jumps into a discussion about one issue abortion voters with blabber about how great things are.
Idle said basically "you are paid to say other people's opinions" with a death glare
Kingston "that's what you do when you ACT!" Thinking that's a killer
Idle "but we WRITE first"

(2,275 posts)I hate it when I hear someone say both sides do it, as the Republicans are the extremists. Glad he included Mitch McConnells refusal to allow hearings on Obamas pick for Supreme Court Justice, the most extreme act of all.
I wanted to hear from Malcolm Nance in the overtime segment, but all I could hear was Chris Christie yapping away (and the former Republican Congressman). Christie really takes over a discussion, felt like telling him to shut up.
Rhiannon12866
(205,506 posts)As for Chris Christie, he's been making the rounds because of his book. There was one day that I just happened to catch 3 different appearances by him just on MSNBC. And Malcolm Nance is the smartest guy in any room, I always want to hear anything he has to say!
Mitch McConnell needs to be exposed for being merely the partisan obstructionist that he is, was glad they brought that up - but it needs to be said in the mainstream as long as he's still around.
