It makes sense that they go after Bezos hard because the murder only made things worse for the crime network. They are still working to take over everything, everywhere. The wealthiest of the criminals can't have the soon-to-be slaves catch wind of how they are getting screwed into bondage for life.

Once we clean up the government, we still have a lot of work to do to get to a better place.
