(135,425 posts)I am on DSL and these are loading slowly....
Kadie
(15,369 posts)I found these at news.yahoo.com and they are slower than where I used to find pics. (the other place stopped hosting pics for public use)
The quality is nice, but they do load slow.
I might have to find another way of doing this.

(297,256 posts)people use their pics?!
Thanks for these Kadie! They're gorgeous~
bigtree
(85,996 posts)resizing them there will eliminate the jpg or png ending you need to post here, however. I suggest taking the pics in on your computer that you want to post, re-size them in your personal photoshop (I use dell pictures, but there are many others) and upload them to photobucket and get your link that way. That's what I do.

(15,369 posts)Thanks bigtree! I sure do miss daylife though! It was easy to navigate, and had a great selection of pictures.

(5,756 posts)And his wife queen Ann is not helping. I am quite certain if you look up "smug" in the dictionary there will be pictures of Ann and Mitt. Just makes me want to slap the shit out of them.

(62,683 posts)there's a boy pretty much front and center -- gray t-shirt. I don't know why, but for some reason I find the expression on his face very moving and touching.
I'm happy to see that in the last pic, it looks like he maybe got to shake Obama's hand.
Wonderful pics as always, Kadie -- thanks again!

(13,776 posts)You're right about the look on his face (I hadn't seen him and was glad you got me to go back and look), but I'm so impressed that you noticed him in the last picture, too--great powers of observation!

It is a common ingredient in some rat poisons, as it prevents clotting--the guy wasn't terribly smart OR subtle. But then, they never are.

(19,458 posts)Gosh.. if you listen to Cryin/Lyin 2010, you'd think that the President would draw nothing but his base "welfare folks" and certainly NO young people (because they're all entranced with Lyin Ryan's abs and marathon record (oops!) And the seniors just LOVE Cryin Romney, or so they say.
But then I look at these pics and I see all kinds of people.. all ages.

(8,377 posts)With a regional population well under a half million, this is an amazing turnout for an event 60 days before the election.
I have stopped arguing facts with the right-wingers who want to send me email trash every day. Now I am just sending them pictures of these huge crowds each day. That is really demoralizing to them. They never understand there are only 5% in this country who feel the way they do. when they listen to Faux and Limbaugh, they deceive themselves into believing they are actually the majority. These pictures are a stake through their hearts.
Bring on the pictures.
Romney has evidently already conceded Pennsylvania. He really can't afford to concede any more states like Iowa.

(8,200 posts)The Denver Post, more accurately known as the Denver Republican Post, showed a picture that was chosen solely to diminish the great turnout. It only showed Obama and a few attendees. Typical crap from a worthless rag. Their OPED page is dominated by crackpot right wing freaks. It is as Fair and Balanced as FOX and Pravda.
