Trump doesn't want anyone (especially his wife and children) to know how little he's actually worth. Melanie will eventually find out when the divorce starts. Almost immediately after he's out of office, is my guess.

up to $1.5 - 2 billion, but nowhere near the $30 billion or so he says he's worth. He may not even be worth $1 billion, but he will be soon after he leaves office. He'll sell the state secrets he hasn't already unloaded on Russia, Saudi Arabia and China.
