1. I Just Love All These Peoiple Telling Dems What They Must Do

Larry had she and a Con lawyer telling the DEms they are responsible for everything and must act, giving a pass to all the Cons so that Larry could pump his insistence for impeachment. The Dems have been in power for a little over three months and are already acting. Yes, the country is in trouble but how about giving the Dems a chance, some breathing room and while all these people are at it how about calling out the Cons because there will be no finality to impeachment unless the Cons in the Senate act.

2. Not sure what you mean by "finality," but once impeached, the Senate can't void that.

The Senate acts like the trial court for the articles of impeachment approved by the House. Whether or not the Senate votes in favor of Trump, there is finality in that he will forever go down in history as the 3rd president to ever have been impeached, with all the opprobrium that entals.

Impeachment also puts the House on record as finding that Trump's misconduct warrants his removal from office.

4. But There Would Be No Finality In The Actual Impeachment

Because the trial in the Senate is the second step in the process and if the Senate doesn't vote to convict it becomes a slap on the hand. And frankly, history's judgment means very little at this point where we need him prevented from further destroying the country.

5. Impeachment is not a slap on the hand. It certainly damaged Bill Clinton.

We may not be able to remove him in the Senate, but you never know until we try, and we must try. Mueller did not go into Trump's finances, and Congress wil not so limit itself when it commences impeachment investigation hearings. As Deep Throat said during Watergate, "follow the money."

Hillary said we need to commence formal impeachment investigation hearings now. I'm with her. She is absolutely correct.

Unless he is removed it will mean nothing to him.

As to what HRC actually said...

“Hillary Clinton urges caution on Trump impeachment”

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2019/04/24/hillary-clinton-move-cautiously-trump-impeachment/3567487002/

“Hillary Clinton cautioned House Democrats on Wednesday against immediately launching impeachment proceedings against President Trump following the release of Special Counsel Robert Muller’s report this month, urging Democrats to widen their platforms to a more “sensible agenda” for the upcoming elections.

The former secretary of state and 2016 Democratic nominee called the ultimatum presented by Democrats - “immediate impeachment or nothing” - a “false choice” in an op-ed published in The Washington Post.”

“Clinton: Not worth pursuing Trump impeachment with 'do-nothing Senate'

"I think Nancy is right to be cautious about making sure whatever is done in this Congress is more in accord with the very careful approach of 1973 and '4," Clinton said while speaking at the Time 100 Summit.”

3. Excellent segment with Elizabeth Drew (runs from 32.10-40.00). NOT impeaching would be disastrous.
