fast food in two years (a whopper with cheese). It tasted very good, as it was fresh. And it filled me up (as something with more than 700 calories certainly should). But you know what? Four hours later I was craving another one! And after not even really thinking about one in two years!

That perfect storm of fat, sugar (ketchup), more fat, and more sugar (simple carbs in the bun) is like a trigger for craving more. And, I didn't even have fries or a soft drink or anything else!

So, yeah, I believe it.

and he had dinner with a family there. The 30 something brothers were saying how American type of food and eating has come to their country and now citizens have begun getting diabetes.

I remember traveling from Rome to Amsterdam in 1984 and stopped in major cities along the way. We saw one whole fast food restaurant (McDonald's). Now you can't go a mile without seeing one.
