cameraman on that day, in the combat footage there are two men getting shot (1:37 mark), one gets back up and tries to walk forward while the other man lies dying.
Has your boss ever thought of who those two men where, what Infantry unit they came from, probably not, nope, he has no clue, Those two men are more then likely from the 116th Infantry, one of the first to land if they survived near Point Du Hoc, that somehow got out of the water, and then met there fate, and they are more than likely were combat engineers since a quarter of the invasion force were combat engineers..........................I have always asked myself, who those two men were, when I see that scene, it still shakes my soul, and I bet one doughnut that your "leader" has never seen this footage ever.........................or ever taken the time in his narcissistic view of the world to understand what the families back then felt when they got the letter of there loved one..........................since he does not know empathy...................
