Watching "The Society" and crying a bit-

Anyone watching this?
I thought-- teen drama, annoying characters, too many characters- can't keep track--

Now I'm at the end of Season 1 (Season 2 hasn't dropped yet), and it's about 2016. I don't want to spoil it. But it's all there.

2. Did you also see 2016 in the end there?

It kind of blindsided me-- I thought it was just going to be teens having/not-having sex and conflict.

5. I mean (spoiler alert) end- what happened in the show kind of parallels what happened 2016 election

That grinning Campbell character-- sociopathic and manipulative of foolish people-- is like T.

I did, but more so the psyche of the sycophants. There were a couple of "aw, come on" moments from that arc that were spot on.

and bookmarking. First I've heard of this one. I cut my cable prematurely without a plan for replacing it. I binge watched my first new Netflix show this past week, "You're Dead to Me". It was surprisingly good!

Now I have another to try. Thanks for posting, dawg!!

There's too much high school hijinks and romance for my taste (long way from high school) in the beginning, but it gets very incisive about "privilege" near the end. There's one guy (Clark) who seems to be modelling himself after Brett Kavanaugh. (He likes beer. Belch.)
