Many more, of course, know better; they're just being cautious politically and in most cases it's hard to blame them.The important thing is to get elected Democrat and stay elected because their votes on anything of a religious nature that might come up in Congress will no doubt be the same as those who are out.

But just like with being gay and out about it, the more who are brave enough to be honest about their lack of belief in the supernatural just make it that much easier for others to follow.
