I remember how Tommy would talk to the ghost of his cousin who died on 9/11.

Where Lou joins a 9/11 support group, but then finds that some of it's members were nowhere near Downtown NYC when the towers came down..., (Lou starts writing poetry to work out his feelings)

Down came the towers
For all the world to see
I didn’t think God
Would ever spare me
As though love and life*
For I have seen the grave
Just give me the knife
So I can end it all today

*I’m a little unsure of this line; it doesn’t make sense, so I could have transcribed it incorrectly.
**Kenny/Lou’s 9/11 poem which he tacks to his firehouse’s kitchen wall in season one of Rescue
Me. He does not list himself as the author, although some in his company have heard rumors
he’s been writing poetry
