he'd probably win in a landslide.

2. I'm surprised he didn't throw in a casual ayuh!

My sister took his class at U of Maine in Orono back when he was teaching there. He's quite a character. I love the line about his attire. The fact is that there are a lot of famous people that live in northern Maine that dress like this and just go about their business. He's right about Collins. We're going to make sure this is her last term.

It’s a thing here in MT too...we don’t dress up for much and when we do, it’s casual! King seems like a genuinely decent person.

6. I almost panic

when I get invited to something “semi formal”. If it doesn’t include shorts, jeans and a T-shirt...uh oh. I don’t even wear socks until December or so.

7. For me...

if I can't wear hiking or c'boy boots, I am reluctant to go. But around here the c'boy boots go with everything from shorts to dresses and semi formal so a decent pair of those covers a lot of ground.

4. Stephen King is a brilliant and engaging speaker.

His nonfiction from Danse Macabre to On Writing are among my favorites.

He's quite hilarious and a lot of his talks are on YouTube.
