It seems a bit overwhelming when practically every item has this review process. However, I use the reviews to see what customers thought of a product, a hotel room, a restaurant, and it's usually easy to sort out someone who has a petty grudge about a business or product. Reviewing the reviews has helped me to pick a good place to stay on travel jobs and find good restaurants in unfamiliar places. Which is also why I'll review, especially some off-the-beaten-path bistro, taqueria, coffee joint that I've had several good experiences with, and been thanked by travelers for good recommendations.
LMAO about whoever rated "Morton Salt". Had to have been submitted by someone who tends to never know when to shut up about most anything.
