Support for impeachment of drumpf now is higher than support for impeaching Nixon when the hearings began..I watched the Nixon hearing every single day...Impeaching Nixon was very unpopular. Until they started impeaching him.
Most democratic systems wouldn’t let the head of state do whatever they want and hope the next election would help fix the damage.

Trump used foreign assistance money to extort a foreign country to dig dirt on a political opponent currently beating him in the polls by a lot.. Look..drumpf and GOP have proven time and again that we will NOT have fair elections if they are allowed to continue in power. So depending on 2020 to fix things is a non-starter.

If a politician does something heinous we turn a matter of good and evil into a literal popularity contest where we just let the voters decide if we're going to let it slide this time? Hell. No. JMHO
