Joseph P. Kennedy III Biography: Meet The Man Who May Run For Barney Frank's Congressional Seat

Joseph P. Kennedy III, the grandson of Robert F. Kennedy and the son of former Representative Joseph P. Kennedy II, announced Thursday that he will form a committee to explore a run for the congressional seat Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) is vacating when he retires after serving his 16th term.

Kennedy, of course, is part of what is perhaps the most well-known political dynasty in the United States; two of his great-uncles were President John F. Kennedy and Senator Ted Kennedy.

Nice speech, but he's only getting attention because of the family he was born into. Americans without connections like his do this sort of thing all the time, but I suppose Joe Bob Snuffy from next door running for a Democratic seat just isn't newsworthy enough.

They are all great speakers and have always thought about the little guy even while they were wealthy.
