Scene with 'Deep Throat' in 'All the President's Men' (1976) film classic based on Washington Post reporters Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward's best-selling novel, "All The President's Men". A true story about the infamous Watergate break-in / scandal in which most of the Nixon administration were later found guilty of corruption and attempting to sabotage the Democratic National Committee during the United States presidential election campaign of 1972.
Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford effectively portray reporters, turned investigative journalists, Bernstein and Woodward (respectively) with arresting impact. The film's cerebral and haunting soundtrack was composed by David Shire. It strongly adds to the atmosphere of mystery throughout this superb political thriller. The film was nominated for 8 Academy Awards. It received 4.
