Remembering Elijah Cummings. This was a great speech...
This was a powerful speech at the opening session of the Democratic National Convention, given by Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland – civil rights champion, Congressional Black Caucus heavyweight and son of a sharecropper. We are all the poorer with his passing. His voice will be missed.
