points and says "that's POTUS" that was so awesome. the awe and admiration from that young man is priceless. hopefully one day soon we can return to having an intelligent, honest and good person as POTUS, one that all of us can look up to and be proud of.

so real, and loving, and kind. i cannot even imagine trump doing this. i would bet real money that trump does not even know his own grandchildren's names. he never, ever mentions them.

every once in awhile i pity him, but then i just think about infants torn from their mothers' arms, Kurds racing to who knows where to escape genocide, all of his impeachable offenses. who would ever sign up to experience life as he does? he must be the most miserable man on the planet.

The geniune joy that is communicated between Obama and the children fairly radiates. And to see those two little boys dressed up like Obama--how world changing to have such a role model offered to you.

Yes, the little boys were black (probably still are) and President Obama expanded their vision of what was possible for them. But the man simply was and is a role model for everyone on how to be a decent, dedicated, giving person.

He carries himself with dignity but never puts on airs. He strives for the best but understands the world is imperfect and must be navigated thoughtfully.

I'm crying now because--well, you know.
