This is just another ploy to garner support from those who dream of turning this into a Theocracy. He is going there, of course because anything that will undermine our government, institutions and system is a part of the end game. He has already massaged the Oligarchs.

Seeing how both theocracy and oligarchy are not compatible or friendly to democracy at all, that makes sense from a person who has a will to power as a Fascist dictator American style. It is not just about votes, its about slamming a sledgehammer of disruption on our system in order to break it to pieces so that it is vulnerable to a complete takeover.

As you said, this a prompting to take action concerning the taxation of church properties and a serious intent to interfere with our governing system by infesting and infecting our government with a Evangelical movement that wants to impose itself on the rest of us, like it or not. Religious tyranny is not at all acceptable and is just as noxious and egregious as a monarchy, (in what ever form it takes). We will not be ruled by a self-styled King, nor will we be fettered and controlled by a cross wrapped in a flag under Mosaic Law!

2. I don't think it stands much of a chance. I didn't' listen to the link posted here because I just can't

stand to listen to him at all. I don't know how many of you are old enough (like me) to remember when they did have prayer in public schools. I went to a Catholic school, and I was taught we weren't allowed to go to a public school because they said the WRONG VERSION OF THE Our Father prayer. Lots of parents of Catholic kids would complain that they had to pay their school taxes PLUS pay tuition at the Catholic School where they had to send their kids. Finally, when I was almost ready to go to High School, they passed a law to remove prayer from public schools.

When my own kids reached school age, we sent them to the public school, but had to also send them to "religion class" CCD, every Saturday.

It sounds to me like the people who are still begging to put prayer back in school have forgotten what it was like when they did have it. Some religious group is always unhappy because the prayers aren't of "their denomination!

Just like The Wall. Or creating the bestest medical insurance system ever. Or bringing back high paying factory jobs. Etc Etc...

He doesn't have to complete anything. He can either actually do damage, like pollution standards, pulling out of the Paris Climate deal, chipping away at Obamacare, appointing con judges, trade wars, etc..but if he doesn't have the support even from all Republicans, he simply goes on Twitter and blames Democrats for stopping him. So if this fails, he will run ads of the 'ungodly' Democrats that hate God, America, and apple pie.
