1. Trevor Noah is a treasure

and he's absolutely right about the media, especially the 24 hour media.

Instead of amplifying this by pretending to take it seriously, the reaction to a plant who brought it up should have been laughter, remarks about Dopey's fantasy life and inability to speak without lying, and what the blazes is that silly man talking about now? Don't play a propagandist's game. put him on the spot and make him defend bringing it up without repeating it.

I've stopped watching broadcast news of any type, turned it of in 2004 because I was sick of being lied to by omission, if not by outright whoppers. I see snippets here and there and it's gotten worse, not better. I have to think they're all complicit in this since they keep on letting themselves be used as sounding boards and megaphones.
