Here, very clearly explained, is yet another reason why Trump and all Republicans have to be voted out of office come November. Imagine a president and a political party looking forward, hopefully!, too the end of civilization, to armageddon, with joy. That is the promise offered by these evangelical jackasses and it is the end to which Trump, Pence, Pompeo, and our ambassador to Israel -- among many others currently working for the president and his loyalists in the senate and the house -- are working.

A vote for Trump, in fact a vote for any Republican, is a vote for the end of the world, folks. Put that on your bumpers and billboards.

(Imagine "knowing" in your soul that the end is, in fact, nigh, that billions of people are going to be subsumed in a world wide conflagration, but that you and your buddies will survive and thrive because you believe in what some gaudily wealthy preacher man (or former congressperson like Michele Bachman) preaches to you. Billions, including babies and fetuses, children, the infirm, the mothers and fathers of the doomed and damned, roasting slowly or starving or drowning or swallowed up by the quaking and erupting Earth, all dying because they didn't support -- or even know about -- some corrupt, smug, self assured con men preaching baloney about a book written long ago by writers who, were they to re-emerge in today"s world, wouldn't know what in hell these damned fools are talking about.

Imagine all the so-called "good, god-fearing" people actually praying, as they do, for that mega-death, getting on their knees, damn it, hands waving ecstatically in the air: "O Lord Jesus please come and heal this Earth with fire and flood and the ripping up of the very Earth, and make it into a new world, one that is pure and holy for me and mine! Yes, You may have to slaughter the innocent, Oh my Prophet of Love, billions of them, but you will preserve the corrupt yet blessed Republican politician, and the even more corrupt yet Chosen president and, of course, me and mine, amen."
