Oh no! PBS joins the "Truther" crowd.

http://video.pbs.org/video/2270078138

"9/11: Explosive Evidence - Experts Speak Out" is getting public attention and casting doubt on the scientific validity of the U.S. government's investigation into the WTC tragedy. PBS is the first major network to air the program.

An earlier report on Digital Journal found that the claims made in the documentary can be verified by reading the government reports themselves. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the government agency charged with the investigation, did not provide any data -- no measurements or estimates -- of the mass or energy that would be required to bring down the buildings in about ten seconds. Normally a scientific report would present all the data that is used to construct a theory. The omission of data is a red flag to anyone familiar with scientific procedure. It appears that the investigators may have intentionally produced reports that the scientific community would reject.

In the time it took me to turn on the TV and get dressed for work a second plane hit one of the towers and both came down.
I just can't except that something other than a plane didn't start the collapse.

Do NOT think for yourself.

There are so many unanswered questions about what happened on that day. To dummy up and just believe their bullshit is as un-American as you can get.

He's not a scientist. He's equivalent to creationists that know they are lying.

Unlike right-wingers, liberals are supposed to be pro-science and pro-reality. I see that claim all of the time. Science proves that Richard Gage is full of shit.

Join 23-year architect Richard Gage, AIA, in this feature length documentary with cutting-edge 9/11 evidence from more than 50 top experts in their fields – high-rise architects, structural engineers, physicists, chemical engineers, firefighters, metallurgists, explosives experts, controlled demolition technicians, and more.

One can always find some fake expert with a fancy title to support any position - argument from authority.

This is Richard Gage's operation. He's a transparent liar.

I reviewed it with my father. Both of us civil (structural) engineers. Both of us had investigated structural collapses before. I went through the official engineering reports that were more than 1,000 pages in analysis plus the data. I also investigated a number of the Truther conspiracy claims and debated them.

In my opinion, the science and evidence behind the official explanations of how the towers collapsed is very, very sound.

If it was an intelligence operation then why would the CIA be screaming at the administration to pay attention to Bin Ladin doing this? Are you telling me that this top secret intelligence operation completely left out CIA analysts, gatherers, and field agents?

Why would the CIA provide briefings and summaries that completely undercut the administrations Reichstag-like attempt to hang this all on Saddam Hussein?

Moreover, if the airplanes didn't take down the buildings and the CIA was wrong but did not agree with the administration then who did it? Why?

Really if you want to try to float the idea that the explanation for the planes destroying the towers is incomplete or is missing something then that is fine, but proper science would be attempting to look at the evidence and try to figure out how it could have happened. Just saying that it is impossible is not really science.

I think I'll watch the video and remain the open minded person who is all too easily thrown under the bus by posters like you.

He didn't have to be. An 'black hat' operation such as this did NOT happen in the 8 months post 41'a election. The Bay of Pigs was ordered, trained for and ready to go PRIOR to Kennedy's inaugeration. He DID give the go ahead, but with verifiable hesitation and trepidation. He was assured by the CIA leadership and other high ranking government types that this was THE way to go, there was NO way it would NOT work and the plan had a HUGE chance of success.

With that said, all 41 had to do was to give the go ahead; or was that Cheney!
