According to Newsweek, Romney asked VP shortlisters for ten years of tax returns.
So why won't Romney release more of his own returns? What exactly is he still hiding?
If Romney wanted 10 year of tax returns from Ryan why does he think voters only deserve one full year from him?
The question Romney has to answer is: What is he hiding?

(76 posts)Many are still under the impression that Mittens has submitted two tax returns, when in actual fact, he has submitted zero completed returns.
The 2010 returns is missing details of his foreign shareholdings. An analysis done by Gawker on over 950 internal financial documents shows that Mittens has invested/transferred money to at least 21 foreign corporations. These are not listed in his returns, and they are very likely used as blocker corporations, companies used to offset tax payments through a variety of reasons.

His 2011 tax returns is merely provisional estimates.
My personal guess: Not only is Mittens fudging his numbers, he is also afraid to reveal
(i) his level of charitable donation to the LDS church in preceding years. Some have speculated that the 2009 contribution reflected in the 2010 filing was simply for 'show', and that the $1.5 million was a one-off
(ii) his political donations. There is a theory that Mittens may have made a contribution to a liberal candidate in his early years.
That aside, how many of you think that it was McCain who let it slip to Reid regarding Mittens returns?

(384 posts)I'm pretty sure he'd be finished as a candidate if 10 years of tax returns were made public.
There's a lot of opportunity for him to have done some pretty outrageous tax dodges (legally, even) and would still make him look just like Micchael Milken.

(76 posts)... his political career will be over if those returns see the light of day.
