At the risk of stating the obvious, I know he's been a polarizing figure and the continuation of his campaign would have only served to re-enact a bitter repeat of the 2016 primary IMO (not to mention the risks for voters in the midst of a pandemic), but I've always thought he would do the honorable and right thing if Biden were to have an insurmountable lead.

Thank you for proving me right, Mr. Sanders.
