Blue Bonnet Cafe, except breakfast and only if there's no line. They do make a good breakfast. Everything else is too beige and over cooked.

Wouldn't say it if it twern't so.

Have you tried Tea Thyme, yet?

I think it is where I first saw Beto. I am fourth generation Texan and can remember going through MF to go to the ranch (from Austin at the time) and trying to get lunch at BBC. It was not worth the wait. Plus I am not a fan of pie.

The pie at BBC is for old people and tourists.

If you ever get out this way lemme know. There's a couple of real deal Mexican places out here and a good brew pub.

I am pretty sure it was once a tea room. Went to a club meeting there once during the Christmas season..(BTW, you spell Burnet with one t.) Went to an early rally for Beto there. It was at the beginning of Harvey. Thanks for the invite. If we ever get released from captivity. Could be fun.

I haven't been on the square in Burnet(my autocorrect hates the single t) for years, Though I drive through often enough on my way to Temple VA. Sometimes I stop at the Storms on the way back.

I was a hand dyer until I got sick and there were three shops I spent time and money at two on the square and the other east of the square about two blocks - all gone, the one torn down. There's been a different restaurant on the square almost yearly.

I'd look forward to a meetup. When we're out of the woods.

history loving ladies but got out when one of the bushes turned the Alamo into a theme park. Pretty much not anything around I do not know how to pronounce, even crazy Anglo pronunciations of Manchaca (man shack) San Felipe. (The Houston way is San Philip ee. ) On of my favorite jokes is about Mexia. Do you know that one?

What's been going on with the Alamo has been a sad thing, aren't the DRT out of the Alamo biz, yet?

I lived in Austin long enough to know where manshack and maynor is. And gwadloop, though my stepdad still calls it 'Heb' instead of HEB.
