I just knew that it wasn't a regular cast member. I just hope that the good doctor was watching. 
Someone asked him who he'd like to see play him in "the movie" and somehow it turns out it was Brat Pitt. So this was such a cool thing to do.
on a late night show might have asked him and they may have goaded him a bit but I kind of recall that. I think it has some truth to it now that I see Brad Pitt playing Dr. Fauci...

What a wonderful way to honor Dr. Fauci by granting him that wish! 
Not saying Fauci was full of himself. He probably thought it would advance his thinking further, altho it really is preaching to the choir at this point...
I thought I saw it someplace but can't be too sure after a couple days, so much takes place in one day! 
I am imagining Dr. Fauci watching this. 
I hope he was watching and laughing, rather than having nightmares about the idiot.
And I hope he was flattered, he's one of the heroes to come out of this huge mess. 
I cannot even imagine what that brilliant man goes through. I can't even stand to look at dump or hear his voice. He surely is a hero.
He has to be extraordinary dedicated to put up with the likes of Trump.
