In most counties, including our own under democratic leadership, those same people in positions of power who failed to act wisely resign or are removed in shame.

It's like we have two worlds where shame matters and one where it's rewarded.

The daily briefs are still just promises and oooh big numbers. The Clustertrump has done almost nothing and has actually jammed up the whole process with counter bidding to never deciding who was running this shit storm - Pence? Trump? HHS? FEMA? DoD? CDC? uh...Jared? The free market? Google? Walmart and Target? Big Pharma? China? The Pillow Guy?

Maybe its time to send out a different "leader" each day to meet the press - after all, they can say whatever they want knowing that it won't matter - and they won't have to be there the next day.........

What’s the threshold?
100,000?
1,000,000?
Multi-millions?

At what point does the level of casualties demand outrage?

If Trump had been captain of the Titanic, he would have instructed the crew to drill more holes to let the water out.

He complained and complained about those democratic governors, including mine, "that woman from Michigan," who insisted on taking action to slow the spread. The help they asked for from the federal government, like ramped up testing, still hasn't materialized. But no doubt Trump will boast about what a good job HE did in flattening the curve. Still, he will push to re-open states too early because his Republican big donors want to get back to making money.
