That's why there's no black people clapping their hands. But it is this music that gave birth to the British Invasion.

(6,913 posts)Is that time black people still were not admitted as customers to the clubs where the best jazz and rock was played (by black people. Up until the Civil Rights movement, before that as far as history can go, that has been the case. Jim Crow, yes, but (going backwards) also "redemption," reconstruction, slavery.
All jazz and all rock is basically black.
