.

I know that you never buy a car that has a history of fleet, rental or corporate on it, because they are abused, poorly maintained and self-insured, so that flood damage or wreckage won't show up on a CarFax report. Now, not only can fleets put these odometer devices on their vehicles to save money when they go to auction or are near lease limits, but private sellers can buy these devices too.

People have to be extremely wary of buying a used car, because the mileage might not be what's displayed.

I just don't feel it. It kinda feels good hearing a used car salesman/renter complain about other used car salesmen/renters. These aren't $20/day plus $.30/mile kinda rides.
