12. Yes. Yes I can. I served on several different County commissions...

On the first one, the AA/EEOC officer, an employee of the County, was under serious fire from the public at the time I came on. Undeserved, in my opinion, but that's the public for you. She moved on to another department not long after that, but it was a wretched abusive experience to behold and I swore I was not going to allow that to happen to a county employee on my watch if I ever had anything to say about it. Ultimately I became chair, but long before that I got the commissioners to agree to a 3-minute time limit during the public comments period.
