And makes it compelling, but still entertaining. Like his mentor Jon Stewart said back in the day, we're now getting our news from the comedy shows!

5. It should work just about as well as the Indian schools did here

Kids snatched from their families, their hair cut off, their clothes burned, abused if they were overheard speaking their own languages, marched off to church instead of being allowed their own beliefs.

I've met some people who "benefited" from that system. Their scars are deep and they most certainly did not assimilate.
