"The View" today...if I hear Meghan whine about not being able to shop for a baby crib, I'm gonna

be sick! Jeebus, Meghan, many pregnant women don't have a choice in the matter and maybe have a decent used crib for their baby. So much suffering in the world and you can't shop for a baby crib! I hope SNL eventually does something on this...

Philonise Floyd, George's brother, on the other hand is a voice of compassion today. The comparison of his statement to Meghan's whine is just overwhelming.

Amazon has plenty of baby cribs. So does Wayfair. Maybe someone should tell her about this.

And I felt fortunate that I didn't need to use a laundry basket or a dresser drawer.

I think I have a picture somewhere around here. My younger sister was special, she got a white bassinett.

since a lot of things were still rationed as Europe was rebuilt and there weren't enough cribs or changing tables or anything else when we came along and there were so many of us all at once.

Fortunately, babies aren't all that fussy about their surroundings.

First crib both my children used was tiny, about the size of a bassinet. My maternal great grandfather made it and it was used for all 12 of his children, passed down to my grandmother for her 3, passed down to my mother for her 2 (one of which was me), and then came to me for my daughter and son. It had wheels so could be rolled from room to room. I’ve since passed it on but it’s now on the paternal side of my family, they’re more liberal and I like them better....

Yeah, I'm beyond over this spoiled brat. I may not be a tremendous fan of her mother, Cindy, but I still thought better of her than to have produced such a total narcissist.

today because I just left from a visit with my 91 year old Uncle Bob and I couldn’t hug him. I live 8 hours away. He’s declining quickly and he asked to see my husband, son and I so we drove to Oregon to see him...camped in his driveway and ate our meals with him outside. It might be the last time I see him and we couldn’t hug and kiss him. How silly of me to feel sad when Meghan can’t shop for a crib.
